Lord Hear My Prayers

So two weeks ago, there was this huge event among us Christian under the SIB church. It was the annual SIB Sabah Youth Conference. 

My best friend who was currently studying in Negeri Sembilan came back to join the event and this post is mainly about a excerpt of a topic we talked about during the conference.

I asked her what was the number one thing she prayed hard for? Well she said she prayed fervently to God for her life partner. 

I told her there was only one prayer I prayed for so hard till it reduce me to tears. 

It happened when I was still in high school, I prayed silently and cried silently in toilet cubicle. And it was for my father.

Now, my dear readers my father has this medical conditions called gout, it is a disease cause by excess uric acid. In my father's case, it usually attacks my dad's leg where it will become swollen and makes it harder for him to every day routines. 

This was not was his first time experiencing gout, but to me that was his worst case. I had heard that gout could cause death and in that moment I thought I was going to lose him. 

I prayed and cried out to God that He will bring restoration in terms of health to my dad. 

My dad did get better and he had a few more cases of gout after that, but nothing as terrible as this one (well that was how I remembered it anyway).

The conclusion of this story is, the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16)

Thank God for public holiday.

Hello there, it is currently 3 minutes past eleven o'clock. Usually around this time of the night, I'm preparing myself for bed (yeah, you'll wonder why I'm going to bed quite early).

This because I recently join the adulting club a.k.a I got myself a job. Isn't it so ironic how sometime the number one thing we tell our self we won't do somehow becomes the other way around?

Quick recap, I had recently finished my undergraduate degree studies and I did my internship when I was in my second year of study so I am (well I was suppose to be) free until further notice/ graduation day. Like I told myself and most of my degree friends that my plans right after finishing degree was to take a long period of rest before figuring out the next step as well as not in active search for a job.

Long story short, I somehow landed myself job. As the saying goes our plans (human's plan) is never the same as God's plan. 

Truly God's has larger plans for us. 

But thank God for the next two days, as in Malaysia it is public holiday thus THERE IS NO NEED TO WAKE UP SO DAMN EARLY JUST TO BEAT TRAFFIC TO GET TO WORK THAT STARTS AT 8 AM AS WELL SUFFERING MORE TRAFFIC AFTER WORK.

Day 3: What are your top three pet peeves?

1. People who throw rubbish carelessly for example throwing rubbish out of their car window and on      the street. Like please keep your trash until you find a trash can
2. People who grinds their teeth
3. People who are rude to server in restaurants.

Have you met Kim Woo Bin?

If you ever read my previous post on Running Man, you'll know I am quite the fan of the K-related stuffs (Mainly dramas and occasionally movies as well as their idols)

So the main point of this post is regarding this korean movie I had just watched last night on tvn movie channel (Thank god, Astro is currently giving free access to some channels)

Well anyhow back to the movie, the title of the movie I watched last night was The Con Artist. Quick synopsis, its about a group of con-artist/thieves that stole a few rare diamonds but got caught by the owners of the diamonds. Now the owners of those diamonds (a mob boss if I'm not mistaken), instead of punishing them for robbing him, he was quite impress with the team and decided to hire them to steal a large sum of money (150 million won).  

Now the main reason I'm posting regarding this movie, is not because of the movies plot because the story plot was quite similar to most thieves/con-artist related movies. The movie main character actor was what caught my attention and it is none other than KIM WOO BIN. 

One of the well known model turn actor in Korean entertainment industry, there is just something appealing about Kim Woo Bin. I would say the reason he looks appealing in whatever character he portrays is due to the way he carries himself . Full of confidence and charisma in every role as well as in real life. I have to give some credits to his tall stature, because he definitely stand out with his outstanding height. 

Sadly, it has been over a year since he went on hiatus. He got sick at the middle of last year and had been receiving treatments. Anyway, I am praying for his speedy recovery and return to korean entertainment industry. 

Day 2: Write something that someone told you about yourself that you never forget

There are only two particular things I remembered so clearly what someone told me about myself. Firstly was my good friend from high school, Ariel. She told me how one of my conversation with a fellow student who’s class was next to us became her motivation to become the best student (academically) for our batch.Secondly was my good friend back in university Laurie, she told me my confidence level was something that amazed her. Till this day I reflect back at those words she said and gain confidence whenever my confidence seems to lack.

30 Day Writing Challenge

It has been awhile since I post anything here. I was surprised myself when an email notification pops up asking whether I still wanted notifications from this blog. I forgotten about this place.

Anyway, based on the post title, I had been trying to keep up with this writing challenge I found on Pinterest. Sadly I had not been consistent in writing for this particular challenge but, expect from me to update my writing challenges output here once in a while.
